Why Leaded stained glass needs CE or CCC standard?

Many people worry about the standard of the glass, and thinking if the glass product is safety enough to set in house,

What is CE Standard?

The CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.

The CE marking is a symbol of free marketability in the European Economic Area (Internal Market).

 

What is CCC standard ?

The China Compulsory Certificate mark, commonly known as a CCC Mark, is a compulsory safety mark for many products imported, sold or used in the Chinese market. It insures the applicable products in a high safety standard.

The CCC certificate and the Permission of Printing, which allows the manufacturer to mark the CCC-certified product with the CCC mark, must be renewed annually in order to keep the validity of the certificate. The renewal can only be done through a follow-up certification. Part of the follow-up certification is a one-day factory audit.
